Transcript of our last all-call:
Hello-
I am calling this evening to report that a person from Union School District associated with the cooperative football program has tested positive for COVID 19. I have been in contact with Superintendent John Kimmel, and have filed a report with the rapid response system. DOH is working on this case at this time.
This individual is asymptomatic and has not been in contact with students or staff during the period identified by the department of health as being contagious. Since the district did not hold school on Monday, and since this individual has been quarantined all week, the DOH has not recommended any additional quarantines or restrictions at this time. Our school district continues to perform deep cleaning and ensures that face coverings, handwashing and social distancing are the norm.
