Clarion University issued the following announcement.
Today Dr. Dale and Dr. Bob Pehrsson donated Ernie the Eaglemobile for use by the admissions and alumni teams as they travel to share the good news about Clarion.
"We knew when it was time to get a new car that we wanted to donate the Eaglemobile. Ernie has traveled thousands of miles sharing the Clarion story with our alumni and friends, and Dr. Bob and I are excited that it will continue to proudly carry Clarion into the future," Dr. Dale said.
The Pehrssons had the car wrapped in blue and gold in 2018, shortly after Dr. Dale became president of Clarion University. Clark Vinyl Graphics in Shippenville did the work.
