County of Cameron issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
The County of Cameron is soliciting bids for the purchase/sale of a .74 acre, more or less, unimproved lot of land located at 21385 CCC Memorial Highway, Lumber Township, Cameron County, PA (the former “Cameron Hotel” property). Sealed bids, with the lowest acceptable bid of $3,700.00 which covers all associated costs of transactions, may be submitted to the County via the drop box at the Cameron County Courthouse, 20 East Fifth Street, Emporium, PA 15834 or via USPS to the preceding address. The deadline for the submission of bids is March 14, 2022 by 4 P.M. The property is being sold “as is” without any warranties. Bidders are solely responsible for title examinations and checking with the County Assessor’s/Zoning Office (814-486-0723) as to zoning and/or development/building restrictions. The Cameron County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
