Warren City Council Vacancy
The Warren City Council seat vacated by Joe Michaels by letter of resignation and accepted by Council on May 16, is to be filled by appointment by City Council.
City of Warren residents interested in being considered for appointment to fill the vacant seat through January 2, 2024, are invited to submit a letter of intent and resume which are to be submitted to Teena Leary, Assistant City Clerk, 318 West Third Avenue, Warren, PA, or via e-mail to admin@cityofwarrenpa.gov. All materials must be received by noon on Friday, July 1, 2022, and will be forwarded to Council members for their consideration; late submissions will not be accepted. In accord with the Home Rule Charter, a candidate must have been a resident of the City of Warren for one consecutive year and must be a registered voter of the municipality. Regular Council meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Monday of each month with special meetings and work sessions being scheduled as necessary.
Council will meet in regular session on Monday, July 18, at 7:00 PM, in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 318 West Third Avenue, Warren, PA, at which time an appointment is expected to be made.
