Forest County is home to two Black inmates in July

Two Black inmates were incarcerated in Forest County in July, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

This is unchanged from the month before.

Austin Eugene Worley, a 25-year-old White man, was the youngest inmate in Forest County in July.

Incarceration rates in Pennsylvania have increased dramatically, imprisoning more than seven times the number of people in 2019 than in 1970.

Sentencing practices in Pennsylvania were found to have overwhelmingly impacted people of color.
