How many people were old enough to vote in Elk County during 2021?

Of the 31,037 citizens living in Elk County in 2021, 80.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 24,963 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 12,694 were male, constituting 50.9%, and 12,269 were female, making up 49.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Elk County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79.1%.
