U.S. Representatives Glenn "GT" Thompson (R-PA) and Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (D-GA), co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Scouting Caucus, have introduced a resolution celebrating the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated in Chicago, Illinois on February 8th, 1910, and since then, millions of young men and women have joined the Scouts and learned the values of patriotism, courage, and self-reliance.

Representative Thompson, who has spent over 50 years in Scouting, including as an Eagle Scout and scoutmaster, emphasizes the pivotal role of the Boy Scouts of America in shaping the next generation of leaders.
