WASHINGTON, DC. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced $2.9 million for the Warren General Hospital to modernize existing facilities and support deferred maintenance projects. Projects include but are not limited to replacing existing medical equipment such as the MRI machine, replacing air handling units and roofs, improving snow melt systems, elevator modernization, expanding the kitchen, and modernizing operating rooms.
"I am pleased to announce $2.9 million in federal funding for Warren General Hospital to modernize their existing facilities," Rep. Thompson said. "Having spent nearly 30 years in non-profit health care, I am passionate about rural communities receiving access to high-quality care. These funds will renovate and improve many of the hospital facilities and ensure that Warren General can remain a premier healthcare facility in our region."
