Glenn "GT" Thompson, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 15th district since 2009, has recently addressed several issues through his social media platform. The congressman, who succeeded John E. Peterson and is an alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, regularly shares updates on his legislative activities and community engagements.

On October 31, 2024, Thompson highlighted a report from the Education and Workforce Committee regarding antisemitism on college campuses. He stated: ".@EdWorkforceCmte just released its shocking report on antisemitism on college campuses. It's clear many universities are failing our Jewish students, and they must do better."

A week later, on November 7, 2024, Thompson participated in an event at Punxsutawney Area High School to honor veterans from Jefferson County. In his tweet he noted: "Today at Punxsutawney Area High School, we honored the veterans of Jefferson County. As Veterans Day approaches, we commemorate the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces."

On November 8, 2024, Thompson expressed concerns over changes to the H-2A visa program by the Biden administration. He commented: "The changes made by the Biden administration to the H-2A visa program have handicapped our farmers and put our food security at risk. I joined @virginiafoxx in demanding answers from @USDOL and @DHSgov."
