The Commonwealth Financing Authority has allocated $314,000 to fund the replacement of a bridge in the 65th Legislative District, as announced by Rep. Kathy L. Rapp, who represents the Warren, Crawford, and Forest counties. The awarded grant will be used to replace the bridge located on Youngsville Road over Tidioute Creek in Triumph Township, Warren County.
"We rely heavily on our infrastructure here in some of the rural parts of the Commonwealth," stated Rapp. She highlighted the potential disruptions caused by bridge replacements, "When bridges like the one on Youngsville Road need to be replaced, it can cause major headaches for folks who live nearby. Hopefully this funding will help expedite the replacement and lessen the length of time residents will need to take a detour."
The funding comes from the Multimodal Transportation Fund, designed to promote economic development and ensure a safe and reliable transportation infrastructure within the Commonwealth.
Rep. Kathy Rapp serves the 65th District as part of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
