ALLEGHENY-CLARION VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: ACV Update

Updateee

Allegheny-Clarion Valley Elementary School issued the following announcement on July 15.

The district is working diligently on your behalf to safely return to school in the fall of 2020.  According to our school board approved health and safety plan that is located at acvsd.org; when Clarion Co. is in the GREEN phase we will be conducting face-to-face instruction.  If Clarion County is in the YELLOW phase, the district will be providing a blended learning program that would have some students on campus being educated through traditional face-to-face instruction; the rest of our students will be provided their education through a distance-learning model.

The distance-learning program will be made-up of a combination of paper packets and on-line learning opportunities.  Finally, if Clarion County is in the RED phase the district will be closed and 100% of the learning will be conducted from home through the distance-learning program referenced earlier.

In order to support our students and family needs, the administration has created a survey to garner your feedback to enhance the success of our return to school in the fall.  Our goal is to keep all students and staff safe, and meet the educational needs of our students.

To accomplish this goal, we are in need of your feedback.  If you have the ability to access acvsd.org or the school district’s Facebook page, we ask that you take a few minutes and complete this survey.  For families who do not have internet access, a representative from A-CV will call individuals to seek your input.  In order to best support the district’s learning objects our goal is to have all of our families complete this survey.

Thank you for your time and please stay healthy,
