CAMERON COUNTY JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: School District Health and Safety Reopening Plans

Reopenn

Cameron County Junior Senior High School issued the following announcement.

Each school entity in the Commonwealth must create a Health and Safety Plan which will serve as the local guidelines for all instructional and non- instructional school reopening activities.  To that end, the Cameron County School District School Reopening Committee has met and developed multiple plans for the reopening of schools.  Multiple plans are required because the science and public health conditions surrounding COVID-19 are continually evolving. This guidance will be updated as necessary when new information becomes available.

Please see the flowcharts associated with each plan below (use scroll bar).  Please review these flowcharts and reach out to your child’s principal with any questions you may have.

Varsity and Junior High Football physicals will be held Monday, August 10 at 9:00 AM at the High School Health Office - wear masks and practice social distancing. Enter through the back doors. Boys Golf will be Monday, August 10th at 9:00 AM.

Fall Cheer, Cross Country and Girls Golf physicals are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday August 10 at the High School Health Office. Volleyball physicals will be conducted this week during open gym hours.

If you are unable to attend, please email Mrs. Kuleck robin.kuleck@camcosd.org and other arrangements can be made.

Attention Football Parents:

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all parents with children in Junior High or Varsity Football. The meeting will be held August 11, 2020 at the Cameron County High School Football Field at 6 pm on the bleachers. Please wear masks and practice social distancing. Please do not bring your players to this meeting.

This season will be different due to all the restrictions with COVID-19 and we are doing the best we can with the little information we know. At the meeting, we will be asking for you to sign up for donations of bottled water, Gatorade and an individual pre-wrapped snack for the players for away games, such as chips, Little Debbie snacks, crackers, etc.

There is also a $25.00 player fee that is due at the time of the parent meeting. This fee is used to get your player a gift that will be given at the banquet at the end of the year.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, please contact Beth Carlson at 814-389-5377. Please do not contact Coach Neyman. Also, be sure to like the Cameron County Quarterback Club on Facebook. If any changes are made regarding this meeting, that is how we will inform you.
