California University of Pennsylvania issued the following announcement.
Cal U is hosting an ElectionWatch event for faculty, staff and students from 8-11 p.m.
Cal U will host a virtual ElectionWatch event 8-11 p.m. Nov. 3, sponsored by the non-partisan American Democracy Project at Cal U.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to view and discuss the election results that are available the night of Nov. 3, highlighted by the race for president between incumbent Donald Trump and challenger Joe Biden.
A Zoom room will be open for respectful political conversation. A separate room also will be available for those who seek support related to stress, anxiety or other issues related to the general election. Both will be moderated by Cal U faculty and staff.
A valid Cal U email address will be required to join either of the ElectionWatch discussions. Visit the Cal U Zoom website using your username and password and click on the Zoom link: https://calu.zoom.us/j/93361128815

The ADP is a multi-campus initiative focused on higher education's role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens for our democracy. The goal of the American Democracy Project is to produce graduates who are committed to being active, involved citizens in their communities.
