To honor veterans in the 63rd District, Rep. Donna Oberlander is organizing a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on November 9. The event will take place at Knox United Methodist Church from 9 to 11 a.m.
The breakfast aims to connect military members, veterans, and their families with various services available to them. Attendees will also receive updates on legislative activities in Harrisburg and the district.
“These men and women deserve to be thanked and appreciated every day, and I am hopeful this breakfast is just a small way to show veterans we care,” stated Oberlander. She emphasized the importance of remembering freedoms and not taking them for granted.
